Math is about more than a bunch of random symbols doing their level best to confuse and distress you. It's about learning to think and problem solve. It's about stretching your mind and growing. It's about patience and attention to detail. It's about recognizing patterns, following sequences, and so much more!
So sure, you may never need to find the area of a circle (then again, you might) but you will definitely need the skills learned while learning math - EVERY DAY!
